An ordinance (1) amending Provo City Code Section 9.32.140 to allow private property owners to initiate a non-consensual boot or tow of a motor vehicle on or from their property by contract rather than by direct authorization only when using a Provo City Certified Towing or Parking Enforcement Business and meeting other requirements; (2) specifying the requirements to become a Provo City Certified Towing or Parking Enforcement Business; and (3) amending Provo City Code Section 6.08.040(2)(j) and renumbering Provo City Code Section 9.32.140 to recodify Section 9.32.140 as Provo City Code Section 9.31.110. A public hearing on an ordinance enacting Chapter 14.14(C) of the Provo City Code to create the HDR (High Density Residential) Zone. (11-0009OA)

 

8.

A public hearing on an ordinance amending the zone map classification from the RC (Residential Conservation) Zone to the HDR (High Density Residential) Zone for approximately 1.07 acres located generally at 1950 North 550 West. Carterville neighborhood. (13-0012R) Continued from the December 4, 2013 Council Meeting.

 

9.

A public hearing on an ordinance amending Chapter 14.06.02 (Definitions) and Chapter 14.34.470 (Standards for Assisted Living Facilities) to amend location and developmental standards for Assisted Living Centers. City wide impact. (13-0013OA)

 

10.

A public hearing on an ordinance amending section 14.06, Interpretation and Definitions, to change the definition of "dwelling unit" and sections 14.30, Supplementary Residential Overlay and 14.46, Accessory Apartment Overlay, in order to make the wording similar and provide clarification. The next scheduled Regular Council Meeting will be held on 01/07/2014 at 5:30 PM in the Council Chambers, 351 West Center Street, Provo, unless otherwise noticed. The Work Session meeting start times  is to be determined and will be noticed at least 24 hours prior to the meeting time, but typically begins between 1:00 and 4:00pm.
