NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION

The Provo City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers of the Provo City Center, located at 351 West Center Street. The items listed below will be discussed, and anyone interested is invited to attend and provide comment. Preceding the public hearing, a study session will be held at 4:00 p.m. in the Community Development Conference Room, located at 330 West 100 South. The work session is open to the public. Formal presentation of the public hearing items, public comment and actions will take place at the public hearing at 5:00 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers. Planning Commission hearings can be viewed live on Channel 17 or on the Provo City website at http://provo.org/mayor.channel17.html.

Study Items The Planning Commission will begin a study session at 4:00 PM to discuss the proposed Downtown Master Plan. The public is welcome to attend the study session although no public comment or input will be taken at this time.

ITEM 1* Paul S. Perry requests approval of a Zoning Map Amendment of approximately 13 acres generally located at 794 East 3900 North from R1.10 (One-Family Residential) zone to RA (Residential Agricultural) zone in order to allow animal rights. **CONTINUED**  ITEM 2* Kris Patten requests approval of a Zoning Map Amendment of approximately 6.05 acres, generally located at 458 South 2470 West, from A1.1 (Agricultural) zone to R1.8 (One Family Residential) zone in order to allow a residential subdivision. Provo Bay Neighborhood 13-0009R, Aaron Ardmore, 801-852-6404 This item was continued from the August 14, 2013 meeting.

The Council hearing dates will be noticed 14 days prior to the Council meeting in the legal notices of the Daily Herald. Copies of the agenda materials, public hearing procedure, and staff recommendations are available the week of the hearing at reasonable cost in the Community Development office between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
