NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION

The Provo City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers of the Provo City Center, located at 351 West Center Street. The items listed below will be discussed, and anyone interested is invited to attend and provide comment. Preceding the public hearing, a briefing will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the Community Development Conference Room, located at 330 West 100 South. The briefing is open to the public; however, formal presentation of items, public comment and actions will be reserved for the public hearing at 5:00 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers. ITEM 1* The Community Development Department requests amendments to Title 14 of the Provo City Code to bring the City Code into compliance with Utah State law related to Assisted Living Facilities and related residential facilities. ITEM 3* Brant Tuttle of Northern Engineering Inc., agent for Ladell Baum, and Oscar Rosales/Ram LLC, requests approval of zone change from the A1.5 Agricultural zone to the R1.10 Residential zone for a portion of a parcel that has 2 zoning designations (A1.5 and R1.10) on the same parcel of land. The parcel is 3.5 acres and the rezone would apply to the southern portion of the parcel that is zoned A1.5 so that the entire parcel is R1.10 like the northern portion of the parcel to allow for a residential subdivision to be created at a later time.  The property is located in the Grandview North Neighborhood 13-0011R, Dustin Wright, 801-852-6414

**CONTINUED**  ITEM5* The Community Development requests amendments to Chapter 14.17 (Public Facilities Zone) of the Provo City Zoning Ordinance to create sub-zones for Training Facilities, Schools and Health Care Facilities. Decisions on the unmarked items may be appealed to the Board of Adjustment by making application with the Community Development Department by 6:00 p.m. within 14 days of the Planning Commission decision.
