Item A (Part 1 of 2) - A discussion regarding ordinance text and zoning map amendments in order to create four new zoning districts, DT1 (General Downtown), DT2 (Downtown Core), GW (Downtown Gateway), and
FC (Freeway Commercial) generally including properties in the existing CBD zoning district, west Center Street between the CBD zone and Interstate 15, including the south side of 100 North
Street. The proposed FC (Freeway Commercial) extends from the east side of Interstate 15 to the west side of the railroad tracks and from between 820 North to 500 South, including an area between Center Street and 200 North, east of the railroad tracks to 1200 West. Central Area and Rivergrove Neighborhoods 09?0012OA. Planning Commission recommended approval.
