Provo Tabernacle Fire - A fire destroyed most of the historic building on Friday, December 17, 2010. Provo firefighters were dispatched just before 3am to the Tabernacle, located on the corner of University Avenue and 100 South. The roof caved in around 6am. It took about 36 hours and around 1 million gallons of water to fully extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported. Thanks to everyone who helped during this emergency.

Lakeshore Drive Opening - This road project connects 3110 West Center Street with Lakeshore Drive on the north side of the Provo River. The new road will significantly reduce response time to emergencies in that area.
