Officer of the Year: Heath Palmer - -Officer Palmer was hired as a Provo Police Officer on June 13, 2005.
-In that short time he has distinguished himself as a responsible, hardworking, law enforcement officer.
-From August 2005 through November 2008 he arrested 144 alcohol/drug impaired drivers in Provo.
-That's over 44 DUI arrests per year.
-Of those 144 arrests, 48 came in his first year as a police officer.
- Many officers are lucky to make that many DUI arrests throughout their entire career.

-Provo City Traffic School was listed as the Best Traffic School in Utah County by Utah Valley Magazine.
-To pay your moving violation and sign up for Traffic School, go to the Provo City Justice Court at 310 West Center Street. Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. (801) 85COURT
